Late Update

Hey Buddy Boy!!
This week was quite exciting. You have a new baby cousin. Your first BOY cousin!!! Jared Victor is Chelsea's little brother and was born last Monday. He was a lucky boy and went home on Uncle Grum's bday, awww!!!!
You've also been battling with 4 horrible 'i' teeth on their way through. OUCHIES! 2 of them came through overnight.

Last weekend we went to the Show. You had a blast looking at the horses and ponies. Unfortunately the animals were already sleeping. We bought you a Dorothy the Dinosaur but the balloon that we got for you was a real hit!! Aww!! As we were heading through all of the rides, you saw the cha-cha and went crazzzzzzzzzzy! We got you out of the pram and you loved looking at all of the lights with Daddy. You also loved the dodgem cars (like that is a surprise eh?) It was a really good family night out.

So... EARLY Monday morning you're cousin was born. We went up to visit A.Lynda and Jared later in the afternoon. We didn't get up to much else.
Tuesday we went to Playgroup before we headed downtown to pick Daddy up.
On Wednesday you and Mitchell both had doctors appointments. We got Mitchells blood test and hip test results :o) All good news! YAY. On the way home we went via the hospital and saw A.Lynda & Jared.
On Thursday (U.G's bday), daddy was home sick, and after going to the doctors was watching some t.v. when U.Grum came and dropped Chelsea over for a little while - he went & picked A.Lynda and Jared up and came back. They didn't stay long but you waved to them! While Mitchell and Daddy were having a sleep, you and I went out shopping & bought some new toys, and clothes and did some basic grocery shopping. It was good to have mum and Greg time. On the way home we stopped by and saw Great Gran & Poppa.
Friday morning you spent some time with Gran as I went to the doctors. You didn't like it much when I left without you,.... but you didn't like it much when I left with you too! argh!! That night we went to A.Lynda, U.Grum, Chelsea and Jared's for tea. You just ate and ate the coleslaw!! It was good to see you finally eating some food again.

You've spent a fair bit of time with dad over the weekend :o) We watched the car races y'day but today you 'helped' with the car - vacuuming, changing wiper blades, cleaning windows etc.... I know you spent ages out there!

This week you get immunised (oh yay :oS), not sure what else we'll do! Maybe go to the park if it's not raininininining!! (Hope it is tho!)
Love ya, sleep well

Gorgeous Greggie

Hey Mister!
This week has been fairly uneventful. We didn't even make it to playgroup - I was soooooooo tired and you've come down with another cold. You currently have 4 more teeth pushing their way through.

Wednesday morning I took you in the shower with me... and lets just say that you were quite unimpressed by the whole situation!! Maybe you'll like showers better with Daddy? I know you adore baths... and hate to get out of them!

You had your first taste of 2 different things this week. Somehow we ended up in the bathroom, where you grabbed the baby toothpaste! yayayay! It was your idea so I think it has worked out for the better. I let you have a bit of a play with the tube and eventually I got my toothpaste and brush and showed you what it was for. I tried to brush your teeth, you let me put the brush in your mouth initially but you wouldn't let me brush!! I showed you what I do with my brush and you had a really good try and brushing your own teeth. *hugs* it was so good. We brushed your teeth again last night too. You think its a fun task *for now*!!
Yesterday at lunchtime you saw a mueslibar packet and attempted to reach for it. I gave it to you and eventually I opened it up and you ate more than 1/2 of it!! It was great considering that you haven't been eating much lately because of your cold.

When we do go somewhere I have been asking you to go and get your shoes and you bring them to me and attempt to put them on all by yourself. You even go and get your shoes when we're NOT going anywhere and try to put them on. I think that maybe you are trying to tell me something eh?

Thursday night we headed up to the mall with Paul Tres to check out the photos that the studio that was set up there had taken a few weeks ago. I had a feeling that the pics would be amazing... that they were. We got a free one and Paul T bought one of them. They are lovely shots. There is one of you on a motorbike and another of you all dressed up in jeans, white shirt and a denim vest. Very lovely!! All I need now is a frame for the big photo.

Well, it's now the weekend and you've just been out with Dad (you seem to be a daddys boy today!) and you're currently playing with your cars (you're accumulating a caryard of them already, and I'm not sure where from! argh!). We may head up to the show later, depends on what else happens today.
Lots of hugs
Mum

A special first

Hey Mr Greggie,
HUGS!!! We've been busy since I last wrote. Friday after lunch we ended up going to the park with Makayla and A.Megan and Mitchell. YOu and Makayla enjoyed riding on some of the equipment and going on the slipperydip. We also ended up going to another park so that you and Makka could have a go on a swing (the one at the 1st park was missing). The photos of you and Makka are from Friday.

Friday night we went over to A.Lynda and U.Grum & Chelseas for tea. You and Chelsea enjoyed having a play together. A.Lynda loved hugging Mitchell!

On Saturday we stayed home for a while - I cant really remember what we got up to for most of the day!! Sunday for lunch we went to the park with A.Lynda, U.Grum and Chelsea and Dad. We had yummy hot chip sandwiches. We took some photos before you had a quick play on the equipment.

Today you went to A.Lyndas and played with Chelsea while I took Mitchell to have some tests done. I arrived there when U.Grum was home for lunch and you only had one shoe on!! You must have had some fun.
When we left there we went to visit Great Gran & Poppa. It was good to see them - we haven't been to their house for ages. Gran gave you a toy car to play with then Poppa gave you one as well. You ended up with 3! Gran helped give you your FIRST haircut!!! We sat you in the highchair and moved the tray part. You sat there quite well playing with your cars. I kept the hair from your haircut and have put it in your scrapbook - Gran has some photos from your haircut which I will get from her later so I can put your scrapbook page together.

You're currently dancing to the wiggles - the monkey song!! You just finished trying to 'stand on one foot and shake your hands'. You look so cute!!!
Tomorrow we are going to Playgroup in the morning, and probably have lunch with Dad somewhere.

Anyhow, best go check on diinner!!! I'm hungry, I'm sure you are too.
Love ya
Mummy

Photo in the Paper

Hey Gorgeous Greggles,
Your photo was in the Daily Liberal yesterday as part of the 'Baby of 2007 Photo Competiton' . You were next to your brother :o), I've scanned your photos and put them with the heading from the paper. You look so happy and I'm proud to call you both my boys!!
We haven't been up to much else..... you 'helped' hang out the washing this morning - bringing the pegs over one by one,.... then I asked you to put them back and you did!! Thank you!

We've also watched the Wiggles (like 100 times..... yes I exaggerated :P). When they sing 'stand on one foot and shake your hands', you stand up next to the t.v., grab the t.v.unit, lift up your right foot and shake your right hand. Your so funny!! You also joined in the 'rolling down the sandhill' song too!!

Well
l must get you out of the highchair, we've just finished lunch. I think we'll go for a drive somewhere - I am dying to get out of the house!! argh! (I know you are too)

*hugs*

Being a BIG BOY!

Hey Mr Gregory,
I'm hoping that you haven't come down with another cold......
Anyhows we had a big day on Tuesday. We had playgroup in the morning and you, me and Mitchell all managed to get there fairly well on time. You were such a big boy! You walked out of the house to the car, and when we got to Playgroup you got out of the car (with a little help) and walked over to the pram. I didn't put you in the pram as you started to push the pram with Mitchell in it. We got to the gate and you finally realised where you were, I let you through the gate and you took off towards the door like nothing else!
We weren't there long and A.Megs turned up with Makayla. It was good to see them both, and I think you recognised A.Megs. You enjoyed playing in the 'pretend kitchen' that was set up for the day, you also actually ate some of the fruit for morning tea too... A first! You also joined in the craft activity (for a little while) and did some 'colouring'.... well scribbling over the page ;)
After lunch we went over to the bike shop to see Gran and Grandad. I got you out of the car and stood you next to me on the footpath while I got Mitchell out of the car and you headed to the door. You got to the stairs and stopped as you weren't sure what to do. You took my hand and managed to get up and walked into the shop all by yourself!! You looked so grown up! aww!!
Gran was so happy to see you, as was Grandad. We met up with Dad there and went to Maccas for lunch.

We got home from lunch and you went to bed, as did Mitchell and ME!! We all got up when A.Lynda and U.Grum & Chelsea turned up with their new car - Holden Commodore Station Wagon & its LOVELY! (where's ours?) U.Grum took you, me and Dad for a drive while A.Lynda stayed at our place with Mitchell and Chelsea.

After we got back home, we headed out to Naomi's for a Mexicanna night of Nachos, Burritos, and Tacos.... YUMMY!!!!! You had such fun chasing the cat around and were the life of the party as you wandered around like you owned the place. You were such a good boy while we were there. We headed home and all went to bed. It was a long day to say the least.
We're having a few days at home now (which is prolly good as you seem to have a small temp). It's good being able to spend some time with you playing, reading and dancing again. I missed you so much while I was in hospital with Mitchell!
Must scoot.... Things to do
Love you lots
Mummy
