Sydney trip
Hey Mr Greggie,
We've been up to a few busy weeks (and I've been a slacker! oooops!) You've been busy with lots of different things. Lately you have been a little 'hugger' - loving to give hugs to everyone! Awww!!
I bought you your first dressing gown this week <-- see! with your teddy! and your first pair of slippers too - you're not too sure about the slippers yet but I'm sure it won't take too long to get used to.
We went to Grandads birthday party - you helped make the cake.... and loved to lick the beater! hhahaa,... what a mess! Chelsea got the spatula.
Not only did you love to make it, but you also loved to eat it - even more messy!!! Concentration on mushing it together,.,. eiw! and that lego car was VERY choccie afterwards!! hehehe
When we went to the Baby Health Clinic for Mitchell's immunisation shots you were very well behaved. He started to scream and you came over and gave him a hug. It was so nice to see you caring.
We went to Sydney on the weekend - we left after dinner on the wet, windy cold Friday night. You were such a good boy while we were travelling there. We stopped at Julies on the way for a bottle and nappy break and you loved playing with the cats and the building blocks. We jumped back in the car and about 2 mins before we arrived in Sydney you drifted off to sleep.... typical!
We've also been to playgroup and you're enjoying playing with all the different toys each week. Last week one of the mums helped you with the craft activity and you made a crown. You've been proudly carrying and wearing it around the house this week.
(got lots more to add but i'll do so tomorrow)
Love ya!

Party Party Party
Hey Mister Greggie,
Ive been a slacker (oops... very busy!) but I have reason to be. We've been up to quite a bit over the last week & half.
Some of the stuff we've been up to includes:
Early Intervention : They are very happy with your progress. You're able to squat and stand without a problem. When we walked in you saw the car rack and were very interested... cars? Greg? Yeh right hehehee.... anyhows later your 'teacher' put a toy in a ladder thingy on the floor to get you to walk over the rungs to get it - you being you, just walked around to the edge of the ladder and picked it up! She wasn't expecting that :o) CHEEKY!! You really loved playing with the basketball hoop and throwing beenbags through it. That kept you occupied for ages! You're doing well and I am so proud of you :o)
Nappy box towers: Last Friday U.Grum, A.Lynda, Chelsea and Jared came over for dinner. Afterwards you and Chelsea found an empty nappy box.... I knew I had a few more laying around so I got them and stacked them up..... You saw the fun and came over and knocked em down! It became a fun game that kept us all occupied for about 1/2 hour! You then discovered that you can fit sitting in one (you wont for long tho!!) and thought that it was fun too. We've played with the boxes a few times this week, and you've even been bringing the boxes back and stacking them yourself..... I thought.... seeing as you can stack boxes, we'll try your blocks! You loved that .... especially knocking them down and starting again.
Playgroup: We missed out on Playgroup Tuesday before last as we were at the Baby Health Clinic (BHC) for Mitchells 6 week checkup & your shots. This week we went and so did A.Lynda, Chelsea and Jared. Things were all good. You even ate lots of pieces of apple and even some pear! We were around the side of the building as it was really windy... this seemed to encourage you all to take off over the paddock! I was surprised just how far you wandered in such a small amount of time.... argh!!
Shots delayed: We went to BHC for Mitchies checkup and for your shots. You both got weighed & measured :o) Both growing well and both around the average mark which is good news. You didn't end up with your immunisation but that is organised for this week... argh! It will be good to have them out of the way. You played very happily with the toys on the table for quite some time while I talked to the midwife. You are becoming more independent every day.
Mum's group with A.Lynda: On Friday last week we went to A.Lyndas for morning tea. We ended up staying for lunch. Some of her mums group & bubs were there and you had fun watching Chelsea walking around... I don't think that you are quite used to seeing her walking yet! Between all of the children you managed to spill the carrot, celery and sultanas everywhere but you all ate them anyhow. You also enjoyed playing with Jack.... although you are a bit of a bully at times..... hmm...
This week we went to a cafe/nursery near A.Lyndas. We had a milkshake before you and Nathan took off walking around everywhere. Chelsea enjoyed the challenge of the big steps while you two walked around together. It was a fun morning out.
Great Gran and Poppas: We went around there for a while after going to A.Lyndas Tuesday before last. It was fun watching you play with the cars. You love to watch Trixie and loved being able to walk in and out of the back door.
Tonight was Makaylas 1st Birthday Party. We all went and had a yummy dinner :o) You had fun playing with Jayden and Makka and a few of the other children there. You enjoyed the cake.... well eating all the smarties off it anyhow! You're looking so grown up the way you walk around, step over obstacles, and start 'talking' (babbling) to others especially the kids. You also love giving hugs - aww!!
Anyhow... theres so much more I could say - I'll post some piccies up soon - I must head to bed before I fall asleep here. Love you lots!!
